Status:
This is one of the closest power plants to the frontline. The operation of the remaining coal mines in the region, as well as the largest coking coal mine are dependent on it. Due to its proximity to the frontline, the power plant is systematically attacked, mainly by artillery.

Total: USD 1.6 mln
Impact:
Replacing this equipment will help to ensure a stable supply of energy and heat for more than 1.2 mln people, as well as to the coal mines. There is a very real danger that a power outage could result in mines pouring with water, which would lead to an ecological disaster and 40,000 people becoming unemployed.
The power plant was attacked twice with missiles in October, then in December, causing extensive damage and destroying the autotransformers and smaller power transmission system equipment.
The plant is the sole electricity supplier for a coal mining company that employs 8,000 people and supplies Ukraine's energy sector and Ukrainian railroads.
The TPP was shelled by missiles and drones in October, November and December. The consequences of these attacks were the destroying of power transmission equipment, after bombardments in November, the circulation pumps for plant water supply were damaged.
TPP was shelled twice by missiles in October (and previously by artillery) causing the heavy damages and destroying the autotransformer cable-line 330 kV and smaller equipment on power transmission system.
